Simply put, we are a company with a laser focus on healthy nutrition. Our mission is to educate and make a difference in the nutritional health challenges we all face today.

Our newest initiative has seen us create and introduce a series of “super food” prints, utilizing professionally photographed “real” fruits and vegetables. These brightly colored and message-focused pieces of art highlight some of the healthiest fruits and vegetables available today.

We are pleased to be a category creator with our new super food art. Targeting schools, hospitals, business breakrooms, YMCA’s, physician offices, wellness centers, university cafeterias and any location desiring to deliver a healthy eating message, these unique pieces of art convey a powerful wellness message.

ANDI stands for Aggregate Nutrient Density Index. It’s based on the simple equation Health = Nutrients / Calories. This is a rating system that scores foods on a scale of 0 – 1000. This food score is based on adding up all the vitamins and minerals each food delivers for each calorie consumed. Therefore, the most nutrient dense foods score 1000.

The ANDI concept is simple. It is meant to encourage us to consume more foods that are nutrient dense, or those foods with the highest ANDI numbers. The more of these foods we consume, the healthier we become.

You will note that we have created artwork to visually captivate and illustrate the power of ANDI.

The owners and founders of Paradigm Nutrition, Ted Johnson and Bill McKenzie, started their new company as a logical progression from their nutritional food business. Having witnessed firsthand the horrific lack of nutrition education among the public at large, and seeing the epidemic in childhood obesity beginning to unfold, they decided a change in company focus was necessary. As advocates of healthy eating and a robust lifestyle, Ted and Bill knew that an educational campaign to enhance everyone’s awareness of the benefits of healthy eating had to move beyond just food manufacturing.

With educational backgrounds in medical microbiology, food science and health care, Ted and Bill have worked to create a visually captivating, mentally stimulating and easy to grasp art print concept to convey important nutritional information. As a past health care professional, Ted grew up in a ‘health care’ family, his father was a neurosurgeon and health advocate. Bill, as a nationally ranked tri-athlete and published author, has worked with elite athletes and coaches to better understand the nutritional impact on both athletic performance and personal health.

As the owners of Paradigm Nutrition, Ted and Bill are truly passionate about accelerating the publics’ learning curve on healthy eating and living a healthy lifestyle. They know the benefits to be profound.
